/business/settings is the home page for everything you can configure about your business on AgroYield Network. It bundles three cards covering the major surfaces, each with a permission pill telling you who can edit the setting.
What's on the settings hub
Business setup — Your business profile (name, logo, address, bank details), team members, and the basics that need to be in place before the rest of the product works. Visible and editable by the business owner and any accountant or admin you've added to your team. Click through to the full setup wizard at /business/setup.
Security — Owner-only. The settings that protect your business wallet against unauthorised payouts: the Payout PIN threshold (the minimum Naira amount that triggers a PIN prompt on approve), the Payout velocity cap (the 24-hour rolling total above which approves are refused), and links into your account-level MFA + recovery code management. Lender data sharing — Owner-only. Whether your business's financial data (revenue, payroll, AgroScore) is visible to lenders integrated with AgroYield Network. Opt-in only — your data is private by default and only shared with lenders you explicitly authorise. See the Lender data sharing article for what's shared and how to revoke.
Where the Settings hub fits in the AppNav
The AppNav (the sidebar on the left of every /business/* page) has a single ⚙️ Settings entry. Previously this was a Setup entry pointing directly at the profile wizard — we folded that into the settings hub so all configuration lives in one place. If you used to click Setup to update your business profile, click Settings instead; the Business setup card on the hub will take you to the same wizard.
Who can change what
Each card has a permission pill showing who can edit:
- Owner — only the user who created the business or was promoted to owner can change.
- Owner or accountant — owners and any team member you've added with the accountant role.
- All team members — anyone with access to the business.
If you see a card you can't edit, the pill tells you whose permission you need.
When you can't find a setting
A few settings live elsewhere because they belong to the account rather than the business:
- Your login email and password live at
/account. - Two-factor authentication (TOTP) lives at
/account/security. - Your personal notification preferences live at
/account/notifications. - Subscription tier and billing live at
/account/subscription.
Anything specific to one business (its wallet, its team, its payout safety rules) lives at /business/settings. Anything that follows you across all your businesses lives under /account.
