If you bill customers, sell on the Marketplace, or want the verified badge, you need a business profile set up correctly. The setup takes about five minutes once you have your details handy.
What to have ready before you start
- Your business name (the legal name that should appear on invoices)
- A business logo (PNG or JPG, ideally square, 200×200 minimum)
- Your bank account details — bank name, account name, account number
- Your CAC registration number if your business is registered (optional but unlocks the verified badge)
- Your TIN (tax identification number) if you charge VAT
- A WhatsApp business number so customers can reach you instantly
Step-by-step
- Go to Business in the main navigation, then click Set up your business.
- Fill in your business name, type, and address. The address is shown on your public profile and on invoices.
- Upload your logo. It appears on every invoice you send.
- Add bank details. Customers see these on the invoice so they know where to pay.
- Add CAC + TIN if you have them. These don't appear on invoices but they're used by our verification team.
- Save.
Your profile is now live. The next step that adds the most credibility is requesting verification — open the Business tab and click "Request verified badge". The team usually approves within 48 hours after confirming your CAC details.
Why a complete profile matters
Buyers on the Marketplace and recipients of your invoices see exactly what you fill in. Profiles with logos, complete bank details, and verified badges convert significantly better than skeleton profiles — you'll see this in your own analytics inside a few weeks.
What if I run multiple businesses?
You can create as many businesses under one AgroYield account as you need. Each business has its own profile, invoices, expenses, and team. Switch between them from the Business tab dropdown.
